FlowLogix Data Center Airflow Management System

In nearly every data center, CRAC units generate a great deal of air velocity in the subfloor, causing a significant fluctuation in static pressure. This ultimately results in low- and negative-flowing tiles. In many cases, simply adding additional CRAC units creates more velocity, causing even more hot spots to occur. As additional or hotter-running equipment is added to the room, the hot spots spread and cause the entire room to run warmer, not to mention the critical equipment.

The FlowLogix system is an innovative combination of CFD modeling, airflow management, and professional services to manage the airflow in your mission critical data center and distribute it to the heat load. This will decrease your overall kW draw, providing significant energy savings. In all cases this is accomplished without the installation of any additional computer room air conditioners (CRACs).

FlowLogix Data Center Airflow With proven results in small to large data centers, FlowLogix will:

  • Produce higher volumes of air
  • Produce even flow through perforated floor tiles
  • Eliminate air leakage in the data center
  • Eliminate hot spots around equipment
  • Minimize computer room air conditioning(CRAC) units
  • Direct more cool air to the heat load
  • Completely balance your subfloor air
  • Maximize CRAC unit efficiency
  • Reduce energy costs approximately 23%

FlowLogix successes are second to none throughout the cooling industry. We average a full return on investment in less than 24 months!

Optional deliverable upgrades available with FlowLogix:

  • Disaster Recovery - what will happen if a CRAC unit fails
  • Thermal Load Study - how much total heat load/kW your current room can cool
