Go Green in your Data Center

Data center cooling and its energy implications are a world problem. Corporations around the globe have been unable to find a simple, cost-effective solution to cooling their data center without implementing CRAC unit after CRAC unit.

In a 2007 report to Congress (PDF), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommended computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling to "optimize data center airflow configuration". Here at Technology Connection, we took the EPA’s advice and designed FlowLogix - a proprietary CFD modeling system that generates solutions for airflow management issues in high-density data center and server rooms.
